At LG, led Mobile TV (DVB-H, TDMB, MediaFLO) and mobile security R&D, delivering world-first commercial launches of 3G DVB-H, 3G TDMB, and MediaFLO. At Toshiba, led 4G mobility security research and represented the company in the Bluetooth SIG, MeT, and IrDA expert groups.

Also PI of C2PS-funded projects on user authentication in CPS (AED 1.44M) and cyber security of intelligent devices (AED 1.08M), and of the Robust AI based Real-time Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) project (AED 200,000). Co-PI on GeoSense (AED 4.17M).

Coordinated the M.Sc. Information Security (2008 — 2021) and Cybersecurity (2021 — 2024) programs, and co-developed the Cybersecurity Academy, which has trained the Abu Dhabi Police and the UAE Cybersecurity Council.
